Aikku secures international mobile remittance hub.

Aikku provides Belgacom ICS with the mobile financial services expertise and resources to assess all risk aspects of the international mobile remittance service offering.
Brussels – May 4th 2009 - Aikku, the mobile financial services consulting firm, is conducting a risk assessment mission for Belgacom International Carrier Services (Belgacom ICS), the leading global carrier of voice, data and value added services. The primary goal of the mission is to assess and help mitigate all the potential risks associated to Belgacom ICS’ international mobile remittance hub service prior to commercial launch.
Aikku’s role is focused on measuring the business, technical, and security impacts of operating an international mobile financial service such as Belgacom ICS’. The service enables mobile network operators to interconnect their mobile wallet services, which are subject to specific local rules and regulations, and to offer cross border transfers with multiple countries. As an intermediary payments service provider, the service plays a key role in ensuring the end-to-end regulatory compliance of the mobile remittance service.
